Community Contributions!

Samples of past and present community fundraising work included below. I prefer to fundraise for organizations I have actually worked with so there is a personal connection and motivation - and so I’m not just some stranger coming in giving money to a project that I don’t really understand, then peacing out. Mutual aid > charity. And time > money in terms of involvement, support, and community building. But these crafts have got to go and hey why not raise some funds for some good causes while getting some art. Ok yay<3. Insert Gir dancing gif here later.

That being said, I’m always happy to learn about and get involved with new projects, and anyone buying my stuff who has their own connections with community groups obviously has a say. Gir dancing x2.

Essentially how I envision this working is we’ll pick an organization together and you’ll contribute whatever amount of money we agree upon to them directly, then send me a receipt. If the item you want is part of a predetermined partnered collection, I’ll collect the money then send YOU a receipt when I send the final total along. Sound good?? Thanks for workshopping with me. The 200mg of caffeine I ingested before writing this does not detract from its importance!!!!!!!!

2025: We raised $624 together this year. $95 for Twin State Derby, the women/NB roller derby league of Claremont, NH; and $529 for Foodworks, the community food pantry in Brattleboro, Vermont. Thanks so much! Heres to 2026!
